Our next CIRCLE OF SONG will be on
Sunday, February 2, 2020 - 2-4 pm at NOTE THE DIFFERENT LOCATION
THE GROVER HOUSE
930 West Front Street, Middletown, NJ
(We will be at the Grover House until May – please see the directions below.)
This month, we will be welcoming Singer-Songwriter Sally Neal who is finally back in our midst, after a nasty wrist problem. She loves to play the Blues and to sing the beautiful songs she writes. Some of her songs are very deep and meaningful – something we all can relate to.
The suggested donation is $3-7. As usual, we’ll pass the hat and give half of the proceeds to feed the homeless in Asbury Park and the other half to NJ Friends of Clearwater – for our next Festival which is booked to be on August 15 and 16 at Riverside Park, in Red Bank. Pastor Sony has retired, but the work he started in Asbury Park is continuing, and we still support it.
If you bring your instrument – even if you don’t – we can promise you that you’ll have a chance to sing and/or play. We encourage songs about the Environment and Sing-Along Songs, but you can do others. It’s also okay to just come and listen.
NEXT MONTH: On March 1, 2020, our Circle of Song will be joined by Roseann DePasquale – again at the Grover House. She is an active member of the Solidarity Singers who were wonderful when they performed at our last Brookdale Festival.
